Best Time To Visit The Eiffel Tower

While there's no black and white response to what the best time to visit the Eiffel Tower is, there are certain things you should definitely consider when planning your trip:

Time of Year

Time your holiday to avoid the peak tourist months of June and September. There are many advantages to avoiding these crowded months, the first of which is that you'll end up spending less time waiting in line for your turn and have more time at the Eiffel Tower. The other important benefit of visiting the Eiffel Tower during the off season is that you'll not be rushed through the experience and can take your own sweet time exploring and discovering the many sections of the tower and learning about the tower in detail. And this applies not just to the Eiffel Tower but every attraction in Paris.

Weekends or Weekdays

The day of your visit also is an important consideration when planning your trip to the Eiffel Tower. It goes without saying that you should avoid the weekend days since that's when the tower will be the most crowded. Weekends attract not just tourists but locals as well. You would be better off visiting the tower during any of the weekdays. As mentioned previously, there's no better time to visit the Eiffel Tower than when it's the least crowded since that plays an important role in your overall experience at the landmark.

Time of Day

The third and final consideration is the time of your visit to the Eiffel Tower. While it might be difficult to do so, we would recommend visiting the Eiffel Tower twice, once during the day and then later during the night. Trust us when we say that the Eiffel Tower is a completely different experience during the day and the night. Head to the tower early in the day to catch the fabled Paris sunrise with your loved ones and watch the warm glow of the sun encapsulate the beautiful structures of Paris. Conversely during the night, the Eiffel Tower is lit up with over 20,000 bulbs and there's really no sight more beautiful than that!
